Communication (3 days)
The first part of this five-day school deals with communication, the basis of success in business and in life. At the end of this Communication Section, you will know:
- The formula of communication
- The components of understanding
- How to be focused and comfortable in any rough situation
- How to get your communication delivered
- How to get your questions answered
- How to communicate with and handle employees
- How to handle customers who just keep on talking
- How to get a shy customer to talk to you
- How to get something communicated without getting distracted
Sales (2 days)
The next two days of the school covers proven, effective techniques for handling particular types of customers. At the end of the second part of the school, the Service Writer School graduate has greatly improved skills in handling customers, both over the phone and in person. He understands himself and others better and is able to handle even the toughest customer with confidence. The result? MORE SALES!!
In this section, you will learn:
- How to handle price shoppers
- How to handle the customer that wants a diagnosis over the phone
- How to handle ball-parkers and people who have talked to other shops
- How to avoid customer upsets
- How to find the customer's real objection and handle it
- How to close the "I want to think it over's" and the "I want to shop around's"
- How to close customers on a diagnostic check and ensure they show up
- What to do when the phone doesn't ring
- How to do follow-up calls with the recommended repairs and sell them
- The three proven steps to selling
- What it means and what to do when a sale doesn't close
- The Service Writer's Code
A Service Writer School Graduate returns to the shop with many new skills and a thick binder with all the materials they studied to use as a reference.
This is a school that should be done by anyone who sells in your shop. It is advisable that the shop owner also does this school so that he is trained in it and can train employees. It helps the owner tremendously in communicating with and handling employees.
